My friends at The Next Arena, a Los Angeles-based experimental theater collective, have invited me to do the costumes for their next production, We Won't Pay! We Won't Pay!. Nobel Prize-winner Dario Fo's absurdist comedy is "a Feydeau-like farce triggered by a food riot." (Booklist).
The first order of business is to make sure that the costume design allows plenty of room to hide vegetables.
TNA's winter production will preview on Thursday Nov. 3 along with a premiere gala slated for Friday Nov. 4th. Additional performances every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night until Nov 20th. All performances start at 8pm.Pan Andreas Theater
